If you'd like to know a bit about us...

In the early morning hours of May 26, 1999, five people that shared common beliefs about what would make a great clan made a pact resulting in the birth of the Graveyard Shift Killers (GSK). The name's origin relates to the times that the majority of the members joined together to play, late evening into the early morning hours, also known as the graveyard shift.

When founded, our primary goal was to maintain a tight bond with each member, as if they were family. Along with that bond, an agreement was made to not disrespect one another, to remain neutral between other clans, and to maintain a fun and friendly atmosphere in the games that we hosted. In those days, Outlaws was the game of choice.

Over the next couple of years we thrived and became one of the most well-known and respected Outlaws clans. By 2002, Outlaws was seeing its last days and many of our members went off for other clans that were playing the latest games on the Net.

In early 2003 a few of us came back together under another tag to play a new game that was sweeping the Net, Counter-Strike. It didn't take long to for us to realize that the new tag and that clan's principals were not for us and on April 7, 2003, once again, united as the GSK with our original values serving as our foundation.

In the years since, we have seen members come and go as well as have gone through several major changes such as game version changes, growth, and changes in leadership. May 13, 2008 marked one such change resulting in the loss of several leaders, admins, and members but we're still here and vow to continue to provide the same courteous and family-friendly environment that they've become known for and that has made them one of the most respected and oldest gaming clans on the Net.

There are many items in the works right now because of our transition but some highlights would be:

1) New Game Server
Our new game server, 63.208.142.37:27015, came online on the 11th and is available for game play. It's not fully configured yet but we're continuing to add maps and tweak the settings as needed.

2) New Site
As you can see, we have a new home. It's not fully complete but we are here and are continuing to build it out to suit our needs. If you are a member and don't see your name listed in the member list to the left, please ensure that you go to our forums and register. Once you are registered and we update you to a GSK member, your name will appear. We have merged our forum database with our GSK database to reduce redundancy, ease of maintenance, and to provide you with added security since passwords and other data will be encrypted.

3) Executive Decision
Any admin or member not respecting our Rules of Conduct (ROC), will be removed from membership, no questions asked. We will not tollerate those spreading rumors, pointing fingers, placing blame, or acting in a vengeful manner towards others over recent events or otherwise creating anything but a respectful, fun and friendly atmosphere for all to play in.
